Boneless Pork Chop Recipes Question And Answer

Can I cook this in the slow cooker on high for 3-4 hours instead of low 7-8?

Here is the recipe. I would like to make it for dinner tonight but it's already almost 5. We won't be eating until 8 or so tonight but I was wondering if I could throw this in on high instead of cooking it on low. INGREDIENTS: * 4 to 6 pork chops, bone-in or boneless * flour * salt and pepper * 1/4 cup oil * 1 large onion, sliced * 2 cubes or equivalent chicken boullion granules or base * 2 cups hot water * 8 oz. sour cream (fat free is okay) PREPARATION: Season pork chops to taste and dredge in flour. Lightly brown in oil and place in slow cooker; top with onion slices. Dissolve or soften boullion in hot water and pour over chops. Cook on low 7-8 hours. After the pork chops have cooked, stir 2 tablespoons flour into the sour cream; stir into cooking juices. (It is not necessary for this to be totally blended into boullion, but don't just dump it on top either.) Turn slow cooker to high for 15-30 minutes or until liquid is slightly thickened. ...or should I go ahead and make it on the stove? Can I make the sauce on the stove? Thought so. Thanks.

Anyone have a delicious skillet pork chop recipe?

I need to use what I have on hand - no time to go to the store: - four boneless pork chops - condensed cream of mushroom soup (1 can) - condensed tomato soup (1 can) - lemon juice, lime juice - baby carrots - fresh baby spinach - shredded iceburg lettuce - salsa - hot sauce (Frank's Red Hot) - a million different varieties of mustard (seems like it anyway) - basic ingredients like oils, vinegars, honey, worcestershire, etc. - basic seasonings like salt, pepper, parsley, oregano, etc. I am out of basil :( I won't have time to bake or slow cook anything so it has to be stove top. I usually dredge in bread crumbs then fry, but I'm looking for something different (saucy) to mix it up a bit. Thanks in advance for sharing!

crockpot porkchops?

When I go home for lunch I wanted to throw some pork chops in my crockpot with some porkchop gravy mix. I have been seeing recipes with pork using tomatoe sauce, well I have tomatoe soup. Should I add both soup and gravy or just gravy or just soup. Does anyone have better suggestions? Will my pork chops cook all the way if I set it on high (it will cook for 5 hrs) or should I set on low? They are boneless.

Need opinion from anyone who has a Rival Crock Pot and recipe book.?

My sister told me about a recipe that came with the Rival Crock Pot she just bought. It's in the recipe book, but I can't remember what it's called. It has thick, boneless pork chops, a small can of orange juice concentrate, soy sauce, and garlic powder. I think that's it. She's going to email me the recipe, but hasn't done it yet. Has anyone ever made this recipe? I'm asking because the last recipe I made from MY Rival cookbook (5 or 6 years old) was horrible, and I don't want to waste these beautiful pork chops I have. Thanks!

Recipe and/or tips for cooking Boneless Pork Sirloin Chops?

I don't buy too much pork (unless it's sausage or my beloved bacon). I thought I was getting decent cuts of meat on sale at the store, and then I read online that it's a crappy cut of meat. I thought, hey if beef sirloin is great, shouldn't pork sirloin be? Anyways, I'm not big on breading chops; I've ate one or two chops cooked that way that aren't dry. These are sliced fairly thin, 1/2-3/4 of an inch.
