Boneless Pork Chop Recipes Question And Answer

Need opinion from anyone who has a Rival Crock Pot and recipe book.?

My sister told me about a recipe that came with the Rival Crock Pot she just bought. It's in the recipe book, but I can't remember what it's called. It has thick, boneless pork chops, a small can of orange juice concentrate, soy sauce, and garlic powder. I think that's it. She's going to email me the recipe, but hasn't done it yet. Has anyone ever made this recipe? I'm asking because the last recipe I made from MY Rival cookbook (5 or 6 years old) was horrible, and I don't want to waste these beautiful pork chops I have. Thanks!

I always found when ever I used my crock pot, with a meat dish, it always improved the recipe 100% if you brown the meat in a seperate frying pan before adding to crock pot. I know it's a pain but it makes all the difference in flavor.
Never made what you are decribing but it does sound good. I looked in my crock pot cookbook and found nothing of what you describe.
You might try the manufacturer's webpage, they must have recipes there or you might send them an email requesting it. Manufacturers are always glad to hear from their clients. Also try www.allrecipes.com, or www.bhg.com these sites have great crock pot recipes. At the first option you read the ratings and comments from people who've actually tested the recipe, and at the other one they test the recipes first in their kitchens before posting it on their website. I tried one that was great, it involved using three large balls of aluminum foil and the chicken pieces on top, the balls kept the grease away from the chicken. Give it a try.
In my rival Cook i found a recipe called Caribbean Pork Chops do not no if this is what you want but here is this receipt. 1 tsp ground allspice, 1 tsp blk pepper, 1tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg, 2 tsp dried thyme, 1/2 cup scallions finely chopped, 3tbs soy sauce 2 tbs fresh ginger grated, 1 habanero chili pepper seeded and minced, 2tbs garlic minced, 2 tsp sugar, 1tsp salt 4 lean pork chops. in a food processor combine all the herbs and spices with the scallions soy sauce, fresh ginger chili pepper garlic sugar salt and process to a coarse paste. coat the pork chops with this paste and place in the crock pot cover cook on low for 7 to 9 hours or on high 4 to 5 hours. i hope this is it.
