Boneless Pork Chop Recipes Question And Answer

Using boneless pork chops for a recipe that calls for bone-in, do I have to change the recipe?

http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,,FOOD_9936_35452,00.html I plan on making this recipe for a friend of mine, but I'd prefer to use boneless pork chops. Would I have to make any changes to the recipe in order to accommodate this? I am not familiar with cooking pork chops so I figured I would ask any cooks on here.

No, bone in or boneless is more of a personal preference. Make sure to keep the chops moist and not to over cook them. A good trick to top off any meat is to pour the "juice" from cooking them over the top once done. Adds great flavor. Good luck on your recipe!
Im not a chef or anything but I'd think the only thing you would have to really change would be the cooking time. Longer cooking time for boneless. or the other way around. maybe someone else can answer this better
No they are the same thing exept for the bone.
I looked at the recipe and it looks mighty good! They cooking time should be about the same. After ten minutes check and I think they should be done. Nice choice.
Bone in would be preferred Take it to 145Fdeg cover loosely and let residual heat take it to about 155Fdeg 165F will be too dry in my opinion
OK, you should be able to use boneless chops, but they may not be of the same size needed for this but it shouldn't matter. I like them both and sometimes the bone-in chops taste better, but I guess it's because of the bone. When you finish eating a boneless chop there is nothing left to pick on LOL LOL...
