Breaded Pork Chop Recipe Question And Answer

I need a good recipe for breading please!?

I am beginning to find the joys into cooking (finally! my poor husband misses good food..lol) One of the things I have been playing with is breading (coating) for chicken and pork chops. We like alot of flavor. Anyone got a great recipe?

We like Townhouse crackers mixed with a little flour(keeps them from burning) for coating chicken.
I like to use Italian style bread crumbs and add a little shredded parm. and Romano cheeses to them. I also like to marinate both in Zesty Italian dressing first. Pancake mix also works well as a breading, just dip your chicken or pork chops in a egg wash - two eggs and some milk - first so that it coats well.
For pork chops, 1 egg a few tablespoons of water beaten together 2/3 to 1 cup of bread crumbs spices of you choice (I like garlic powder and seasoned salt) 1/4 cup olive oil or veggie oil heat oil in large skillet on med. dip chops in egg and water mixture then in bread crumbs, for about 5 min. turning once. (you may have to add a few tablespoons of oil) I finish baking in the oven at 350* for about 25 min longer (or no pink in the middle) preheat 425* oven For chicken, ( about 1 1/2 pounds boneless and skinless) 2 cups cornflakes (crushed, to 1 cup) 1/2 teaspoon paprika about 3 tablespoons fresh parsley 3 tablespoons milk seasoning of your choice (I like garlic powder and seasoned salt) Melt 2 to 3 T. butter in large pan mix cornflakes, paprika and parsley beat together milk and seasoning dip chicken in milk mixture then in cornflakes (drizzle more melted butter on top if you like) bake uncovered for 20 to 25 min.
Go to an Asian market and get panko (Japanese breadcrumbs). They come in plain which you can add herbs & grated aged cheese such as grana padano, parmesan, or pecorino. There is also wasasbi flavored panko, which has a light green tint to it.
